Training Center Wood & Construction (OHB) represents an association of all stakeholders, including shippers and IWT engineering experts, promoting the green and resilient use of IWT in East Flanders.

OHB is developing a highly innovative autonomous barge and infrastructure automation in IWNET for city logistics, being involved in several projects in this area.
Training Center Wood & Construction will lead SFAZ based integrated and automated logistics chain Living Labs, and the Living Lab Belgium. OHB will strongly support the innovation scaleup and the business application and research prerequisites for SFAZ vessels.

Established in 2013, ALICE promotes zero-emission logistics through collaborative innovation and supports the EU’s Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe research programmes to transform European transport and logistics.

ALICE will lead the development of guidelines for the deployment of SFAZ vessels, involving stakeholders and providing recommendations on technology, automation and zero-emission propulsion systems. ALICE will also focus on regulatory co-creation for the smooth introduction of these vessels, aiming to transform logistics through cleaner, more efficient technologies and innovative business models, ensuring compliance with new regulations and standards.

Seafar is a front-runner in the development and operational integration of state of the art technologies for semi-autonomous and unmanned shipping.

Seafar supports and operates automated vessels from a Shore Control Center, including unmanned navigation with automated vessels on fixed trajectories, aiming to increase the competitiveness of small vessels.
Seafar will be involved in LL1 regarding automated techniques applied to vessels (including mooring and cargo operations) by implementing and testing a monocular depth estimation for measuring distance to objects near the vessel
CIRCOE is an innovation and technologies transfer centre specialized in transport and logistics based in Le Havre, Normandy, which aims at stimulating economic development.
Since 1992, Circoe (formerly CRITT T&L) has been developing logistics performance and innovation for its customers.
CIRCOE will be SFAZ vessel concept and values propositions leader and work on the feasibility study for the two LL based on the operational, logistics and regulations constraints of automated sailing in urban and coastal environment. In addition, CIRCOE will lead the Impact assessment and stakeholder-validation to evaluate the LL’s impact and the acceptance of the SFAZ vessels.
NEAC-INDUSTRY is an engineering and applied research company developing the concept of the NEAC® Autonomous and Connected Electric Shuttle for coastal areas and smart cities bordered by waterways.
NEAC will lead LL2 to promote the last kilometre delivery into urban centres providing an electric floating platform to test automated navigation, data transfer and algorithm for object detection and avoidance. NEAC will be leader of innovative propulsion concepts.
