FOREMAST will be part of the upcoming ITS European Congress, taking place from 19 to 21 May 2025 in Seville, Spain. The project will be showcased both in the exhibition area—with a dedicated space at the PNO Consultants stand, featuring a project video and brochures—and in the official congress programme.

On Monday, 19 May, from 11:45 to 12:45, FOREMAST will contribute to the session titled “Innovating in waterborne mobility: business and regulatory aspects”, held in Room Madrid A at the FIBES venue. This session (SIS 53) will bring together several EU-funded projects to discuss the future of waterborne transport, focusing on the perspectives of technology providers and the business and policy frameworks enabling innovation in the sector.

Discussions will address the alignment between emerging technologies and market needs, the role of early adopters, and the competitive strategies of first movers. A particular focus will be placed on legal requirements, regulatory standards, and the societal and ethical dimensions of implementing new mobility solutions.

The session will be moderated by Michela Apruzzese (PNO) and feature contributions from:
