FOREMAST will be presented at the European Transport Conference (ETC), taking place from 9–11 September 2026 in Porto, Portugal.

Hosted by the Association for European Transport (AET) at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, the conference will bring together more than 500 transport professionals, researchers, policymakers and industry representatives to exchange knowledge and explore the future of mobility.

FOREMAST will be showcased in the exhibition area by project partner Magellan Circle, alongside the EU-funded FLEETfor55 and PIONEERS projects. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about FOREMAST’s work to support the development and deployment of Small, Flexible, Automated and Zero-emission vessels and strengthen the role of inland waterways in sustainable urban freight transport.

The event will provide an important opportunity to share the project’s ambitions, connect with the European transport community and explore synergies with other initiatives working towards a more sustainable, innovative and connected transport ecosystem.
