On 16-17 September 2025, FOREMAST was presented at the Danube Ports Days event, a key annual gathering dedicated to sustainable and digital inland navigation.

The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders from the inland navigation and port community, offering an important platform for discussion and collaboration. Florin Păcuraru, from Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați (UGAL), had the opportunity to present and promote the FOREMAST project, raising awareness about its work and objectives within the European transport and energy transition.

Danube Ports Days once again confirmed its role as a valuable meeting point for knowledge exchange, dialogue, and the promotion of innovative solutions for the future of inland ports and waterways.

Participation in this event reinforced FOREMAST’s commitment to advancing greener and smarter transport solutions for inland waterways, while also strengthening connections with stakeholders actively engaged in Europe’s sustainability and digitalisation goals.
